On Saturday, September 13th, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., a fundraiser was held to benefit the food bank. The event was initiated by owner Christina Gaumond, and the Hawkesbury Fire Department accepted the invitation to participate. Customers were invited to donate food items they had purchased at FreshCo or make a monetary donation. At the end of the event, the food bank received an impressive amount of food AND the staggering sum of $802.00!
