On Saturday, July 25th, a golf tournament was held at La Cité Golf Club to benefit the Hawkesbury Central Food Bank… the HCFB!
The idea first took shape in early May 2026 when two residents decided to organize a charity golf tournament, with proceeds going to the HCFB. As accomplished golfers, Mrs. Chantal Ravary, of the Hair Salon “Duo Style” and Mrs. Chantal Sauvé, a mortgage agent with Mortgage Alliance, handled every step involved in organizing this major event. On top of that, they conducted a persistent search for sponsors.

Twenty sponsors agreed to contribute to this third-party event, designed to benefit our fellow citizens in need. As for the tournament, 68 golfers participated, and they were joined by 26 guests for dinner and evening festivities.
This landmark event raised the generous sum of $2,225.00!
