Owner Daniel Asselin always warmly welcomes the food bank during annual events such as Easter and Thanksgiving weekends. Numerous volunteers come and help pack customers’ groceries into bags. In return, the customers, who are always generous, give a monetary donation to the HCFB.
At Easter, the HCFB collected $5,685.00, and at Thanksgiving, another impressive $7,919.50… for a fabulous total of $13,604.50 !
These donations would have been unthinkable without the openness of Mr. Asselin and his staff and the generosity of his customers. A resounding thank you!
