On Saturday, October 25th, a fun washer toss tournament was held at the Hawkesbury Legion. The event was organized by two of its members, Mr. Yves Paquette and Mr. Yvon Doiron, and the Legion provided the venue free of charge plus a donation in the amount of $1 000.00!!!
The event welcomed 64 participants to the tournament, which was followed by a spaghetti dinner, which was also attended by twenty guests. The goal of this event was to raise funds for the food bank and the festive atmosphere made this fundraiser an exciting and dynamic occasion. Everyone recognizes the importance and necessity of supporting the food bank. Participating in such an energetic and enjoyable activity makes the goal easily achievable and particularly entertaining. The organizers will donate the amount of $2 815,00 to the HCFB!
